Dollar SCARCITY: Foreign airlines double their fares

Not much of a surprise though. I read today from a renowned newspaper that most international airlines within Nigeria (if not all) have increased their airfares to double their original cost. What this means is that if you travelled abroad last year with say 200,000 naira, you should be prepared to pay 400,000 naira this year... ISN'T that Lovely!!!!

lol... It's but for a while... we know that this current administration is doing all it can to ensure that our country Nigeria pulls through this difficult times...GOD BLESS NIGERIA!

What on earth is NUPENG???

I always had that question on my mind!! So, there's this one-storey building at jibowu street in Yaba, Lagos state. It has NUPENG written on it. From the little research I've done, it's the headquarters of the UNION (I hate Nigerian Unions) and has three other branches in Portharcourt, Kaduna and Warri (lol, the refinery states). I find it weird that the Union was inaugurated in Benin City, of all places, in 1977. Officially registered as a union on the 15th of August, 1978, the Nigeria Union Of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) became an official part of the NLC. On 1st of February, Igwe Achebe was elected as its new President with Joseph Ogbebor as secretary. Just one month later... NUPENG went on strike!!!!
